Models of the Netherlands.
It can't be more original.
In the past Kibri made a few models of Dutch origin.
These where released as the "Benelux series",
specially designed and made for the Dutch and Belgium
market. Faller carries some windmills, which are models
of the real windmills in Holland, especially the
Kinderdijk. Kinderdijk is a place in Holland with nothing
but windmills some still working and open to the public.

Artitec and Tilly models, of course, makes Dutch models, but in a different
way, they use high quality resin and the models need to
be painted, see my article about
Artitec kits.
When I am sure about the true existence of a model, I try
to find and add a picture of both the model and the real
structure. I also place some info, or a website link, if
available, in the table as well, like for example the
Rembrandt house.
Pola, Holland Scale and other brands carry Dutch models
as well, but not until I know more about the originality,
I place them under the category "Dutch design".
Most of the models are not for sale anymore, if your
lucky you might find one at a train show or on E-bay.
By clicking on the link, you will find a website with
more info in regards to the building or owner.
I am grateful to the individuals who assisted me with
photo's, and webmasters from other websites which gave me
permission to publish there photos, which you can visit
trough a link.
