My mom, mother-in-law, our grandma and great grandma, Cornelia Faasse “Corrie” was born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. At the age of 91 years, she passed away in Putten.
My mom prepared for her funeral years in advance. She wanted everything to be perfectly clear and well taken care off. She did receive her funeral that she wanted to be exactly as written down in her will. For many years when I visited mom, we spend a day or two going over her funeral. So is her choice of having the funeral announcement card to be in two languages, English and Dutch. And about one week for her passing, she told my aunt to make sure the English text and page comes first. She wanted this for her grandchildren. Click on each tab to see the scanned image.
